About Me
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) who has been practicing for more than a decade. I am also an Art Therapist by training, graduating from Concordia University’s Creative Arts Therapies graduate program and have done further Play Therapy training through Canadian Association for Play Therapy.
Currently, I primarily work with individual adults and provide parent coaching services. However, I have also had the privilege of working with children, youth, adults and families in agencies and shelters such as, Armagh House, Regesh Family Child Services and Family Services Toronto. In this work I developed a belief in the inherent ability of people to make meaning of their lives and to grow even under the most difficult of contexts.
In my private practice I have developed an eclectic therapeutic approach which integrates creative approaches, Internal Family Systems, CBT as well as trauma/attachment lenses to process a variety of challenges such as grief, anxiety and trauma.
Each person is unique so I prioritize working from a strength based and client-led framework where I regularly check in with clients for the direction of therapy and the fit of the approach. Through this work I strive to foster a space and therapeutic relationship that can help form the groundwork to heal.
Services

Art Therapy
If you like to play with materials and to work with your hands, then this approach is for you. You do not need to be an artist by training! Art Therapy can help you gain new perspectives and provide ways of understanding that go beyond words.

Individual Therapy
Sometimes what you need most is a safe relationship to work through any worries, grief or frustrations that you may be experiencing. I offer adult individual sessions online and in-person.

Parents, Children,
Youth
Working with children, teens and their parents is special and important work. If you and your child are looking for help then I offer different entry points, such as play or art to assess and address any challenges that might be coming up. I also integrate parenting, family sessions and individual sessions.
Fees
In my private practice, my fee is $160 but I like to make our work together sustainable. Please contact me for sliding scale options.

As a Registered Psychotherapist insurance companies may cover our sessions but you will need to verify that with your insurer.
